So I went to Chicago with work a few weeks ago. The weather was horrible, so I didn't get the chance to really see the city. Our hotel was on Michigan Ave so I was able to see the main drag.
We were working at the Apparel Mart, which claims to be the biggest indoor show space in the US. It was very 'American' and my prison for 5 DAYS!! It was right on the river. One of the models we were working with showed me exactly where the Dave Matthew's Band tour bus dumped its waste on a watertaxi below.

wow, it "looks like" Chicago--or at least how I imagined it--lots of grey, tons of high rise buildings, perhaps smelling like a lot of "factories"/pollution, etc. How were the people?
