Nuit Blanche 2010

We met up at 9pm and walked until 4am. We started on Yonge Street (which was blocked off so there were people everywhere!) Much of the installations weren't picture worthy so here's a compilation of what caught my eye. I tried to upload the videos that I took but for some reason they wouldn't work!

This was one of the first ones that we saw. The detailed cut outs on the 'van-disco ball' were incredible.

This screen displayed a live stream feed of a horse in a stable

These faces were kind of creepy, all made of recycled bags

This black light smoke was pretty unreal

An interactive global map of all underground transit lines. There were pinhole lights along the tracks that I think light up, but you had to take your shoes off and wait in line to step on them and make them glow

Projection graphics that were very cool at Union Station

Random light display in Trinity Bellwoods

Projection of being on a swing set

The Drake Hotel had a projection of old school Nintendo games

This was the best thing ever. I wish my video of this would upload!! A total rock stage set up on Queen West and a right out party all night. The music was really good and the crowd was just having so much fun. Definitely a highlight of the night

Again, I wish my video would upload. This was the bus stop right around the corner from my place. A DJ was spinning under the shelter while tagging took place on top. Again, really good music!!

That Same Night

Fun things to take pictures of along the way.
